Having posted the bad news re litter problem this morning, I then, by pure chance, met Mr John Crumlish, County Council employee in charge of litter collection for the Inishowen Peninsula.
Within the hour of mentioning the situation John had gone post-haste to Glenburnie beach, cleaned up the horrible mess and positioned two proper litter bins which should solve the problem.
This example of top class dedication to the job should not go unnoticed or unmentioned.
A great example – well done.
