Curran brothers raise in excess of €3000
As they scooted down from Muff to Redcastle yesterday, Darren and Dean Curran had only one thing on their mind – raising funds to donate to the HSE staff at Letterkenny University Hospital. The brothers told me earlier today that they just wanted to raise some money for the nurses at LUH and maybe get something for their canteen or other area of the hospital.
Their total raised has amount to a whopping €3,300. A truly fantastic achievement.
The lads scooted their wee hearts out yesterday and gave everyone in the area a good laugh at their jaunt. But at the heart of it all was a great intention and real dedication to helping in this difficult time of Covid – and in particular helping those very much on our frontline at LUH.
Huge well done to the lads and this well earned nap today has been earned.
