I was in Gillen’s yesterday. I wondered if people would be panic buying yet because of the cornavirus.

Not a bit of it. There were no more an half a dozen people in there altogether.

What a difference to Dublin where a friend of mine who lives there said “After today’s government announcement it’s bedlam over here in all the shops, crowds panic buying and all the shelves are empty”.

No Panic in Moville

I think it takes a bit more than a coronavirus to make Movillians panic buy.

I was the only one in the butchers when I was being served so no sign of panic buying there either.

Still there’s plenty of time.

In Italy the only shops allowed to open are food shops and pharmacies.
