It feels like it’s been in Muff forever and yet it seems like yesterday the doors and gates of Warren View Manor opened in Muff. Situated in the heart of Muff, the sheltered housing complex offers luxury accommodation in a safe and secure environment to the over 55’s.

Warren View Manor is home to 29 purpose built apartments which are constructed to the highest specifications and which are completely wheelchair accessible. These lovely apartments, of which there are 25 single apartments and 4 double apartments, are designed with your every need in mind. From the highest quality fitted kitchens to their spacious built-in wardrobes and hot presses, you really won’t be disappointed. The building was built to optimize the use of light and you instantly notice the light airy feeling as you enter the building.

Now as it celebrates 10 years, the Manager and committee would like to invite members of the community to the Warren View Manor 10th Anniversary Open Day on Friday 26th April 12pm – 4pm. This will be an opportunity for people to have a look around the building and it’s beautiful gardens (including community garden) and see just what this facility has to offer.

The complex is currently full and a waiting list is in operation. As well as home to residents, Warren View Manor offers 3 public meeting spaces for rental purposes, and their large kitchen and dining-room is perfect for hosting a charity ‘coffee morning’. The outdoor space is also home to two other very special residents – Pip and Daisy (goats).

The residents of Warren View Manor have their own secure apartment which allows for complete ‘independent living’ alongside a large communal sitting room (with wifi). The residents have a weekly ‘afternoon tea’ and a number of social events throughout the year. They also have a local chef who comes in and prepares lunch twice weekly in-house for the residents.

The residents, committee and management all take great pride in this building, it’s spectacular gardens, and community garden. It boasts a very warm welcome from both management and tenants as you enter. There’s always someone to say ‘hello’ to.

At present the eldest resident is just 93 years young and enjoys all the facilities the premises has to offer.

Why not pop along on April 26th and see for yourself, not only this beautiful building and grounds, but just what it does have to offer the wider community. Also on the day, light refreshments will be served at 1.30pm.

Happy 10th Anniversary to all at Warren View Manor and we hope you all enjoy the celebrations. I’ll certainly be popping along for a coffee and some nibbles on the day.
