It was with great sadness that the village has learned of the death of Damien McCarron.
Damien and his wife Sue managed The Matador Bar right here in Muff for 10 years and it’s a period still highly spoken off, and always with fond memories.
Damien’s nephew described him to me this morning as ‘A Legend’. I’m certain there are many people who will agree and relate to this sentiment.
Funeral from his home, 10 Larkhill, Steelstown, Derry on Thursday morning April 4th at 10.15 am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Muff.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deepest sympathy to Damien’s wife Sue and all his family and friends.
