One can’t help but notice the hive of activity around The Treehouse Bar and Restaurant this week. The last minute attention to detail is well underway. In fact I thought at one stage Diarmuid Gavin must be in town as a huge landscaped area suddenly appeared outside. ‘Tis looking mighty fine indeed.

The entire village is eagerly awaiting a viewing inside. With mysterious snippets of that very interior being posted daily over the past week, the anticipation really is mounting. And maybe it was only me, but when the lit-up photograph of the building was posted last night, I went so far as to scroll in to see if I got a peep in the windows – but alas, no can do!!!

The Treehouse Bar and Restaurant is opening to the general public this coming Friday evening at 5pm. There will be no pre-booking of tables on opening weekend so it really is a matter of tables being allocated on a first come, first served basis .

The Mindbenders are playing on Friday night so a mind-bending night will definitely be in store. I’m just wondering if E.T. might be in the building!!!! A whole other story!

It’s been long awaited, it’s been long needed, and finally we are getting our very own bar/restaurant. It’s been a while since the village had such, and it’s sure to be a welcomed addition to an already very thriving community village indeed. And of course, we won’t say no to the tourism this will hopefully bring too.

Here’s wishing The Treehouse Bar and Restaurant a very exciting opening weekend, and much success thereafter.,
