Sean Ti Hoe Down
There’s going to be a Hoe Down in the Sean Ti this Saturday night. It is part of the Parton With Cash country festival.
All this weekend’s Scottish visitors will be there, so there should be a good atmosphere and a good crowd.
The Sean Ti have ordered in bales of hay and barrels to make it authentic.
They’ve booked a 3-piece country band too.
They’re asking people to wear country outfits for it.
The Sean Ti did it once before and it was highly successful.
Scots Coming
All the McGonigal / Dillon clan from Greenock in Scotland will be there.
There are more than 60 of them coming to Moville this weekend.
Indeed some of Clan McGonigal / Clan Dillon are coming from as far away as Australia.
Indeed there are four coming from there.
There are a further two coming from Chicago in the USA and one from Philadelphia – all just for this weekend in Moville / Greencastle.
Quiz and Music
It starts with a quiz in Rosatos followed by music on the Friday night, then a duo in Rosatos on Saturday followed by the Hoe Down in the Sean Ti and then it ends in Rosatos on Sunday night.
You can be sure that the Scots are here to party.
Many Movillians and Verdecastrians (folk from Greencastle) will maybe get to meet people they haven’t seen in years.
