This coming Sunday night will see a little culture in the village of Muff. We don’t get near enough drama happening here. But that is all about to change on Sunday night, February 28th at 8pm. A Wake in the West by Moville Drama group will take to the stage at St. Mary’s Hall Muff.
I have it on good accord that it will have tears running down our cheeks….not through sadness, but genuine laughter.
A Wake in The West has been described as “An archetypal Irish sitcom that combines the most solemn of situations with unrelenting comedy”.
Tom’s last dying wish and a humilating one at that for the family, is that he would be cremated and his ashes scattered at sea. The dying wish torments his family and the hilarious scenes that follow are brought to life by this local cast.
So why not come along on Sunday night and see for youself what this drama will showcase. A good laugh is definitely on the cards.
A Wake in the West
The cast includes: Mary Dougal, Shane Carey, Eamonn McLaughlin, Paul and Mandy Bredin, Maura Harkin, Anna Connelly, Maurice McGeady and Gerard Sonia. Guaranteed to be a good one.
