Irelandopedia and DylanFest on the Lough

It was pointed out that there is a new book out, selling in Derry, called Irelandopedia and it is selling like hot cakes.

It has what it sees as the main features, events and festivals in Ireland.

Included in that is the DylanFest on the Lough which takes place in Moville on the UK bank holiday weekend at the end of August every year.

Only Moville and Malin Head get featured for Inishowen.

Let’s hope that a lot of people buy the book or at least see it.

Moville’s DylanFest on the Lough

It’s good to see that the DylanFest is getting some publicity.

It’s getting bigger every year with people have to search as far away for accommodation as 14 miles with some people not able to get accommodation at all, which is a shame.

One guy from Westport could only stay for the Thursday night, this year, as that was all he could get accommodation for.

The problem now is not making it a success but in finding more accommodation for those who want to come.

I’m told that bookings have already started for next year’s festival.
