Music

Usually Friday nights are very quiet in November but there is a great night of music in Moville to tempt people out tonight.

Annie’s Bar have a great duo, tonight, called Whiskey Preacher about whom they are quiet excited.

In Rawdons there is the indefatigable Paddy The Shoe.

He plays a mixture of Irish Trad and Folk interspersed with the classics of Rock and Pop depending on the crowd.

Songwriters Night in The Clock

There’s a very interesting night in The Clock tonight.

They are having a songwriters night and have asked local songwriters to come along to which they’ve had a good response.

This isn’t something where people go up on The Clock’s stage and play their own songs.

That can be nerve-wracking.

Fireside Music

No, this is a cosy little night around the fire, upstairs, where the guitar gets passed around ane everyone sings a few songs, their own or otherwise.

All players are welcome, songwriters or not, and all spectators are welcome to come along and listen.

If successful, which I think it will be, they will be having a Songwriters’ Night every Friday in The Clock.
