Live Music

This is Halloween weekend so expect a treat.

This is the weekend when so many people come out.

Friday

High McMonagle is playing Annie’s Bar, which has live music all three nights this weekend.

Paddy the Shoe will play Rawdons, where he plays a mixture of Trad, Folk and the rock and pop classics – depending on the audience.

Saturday

There will be a late bar in The Clock this weekend.

It’s to celebrate their first year in there.

They will have their top band, Electric Fly, from Derry, playing that night.

With the crowd out for Halloween it should be jammed in there.

There’s a prize for the best fancy dress.

The very popular Paul Jack will be playing Annie’s on Saturday night.

Rosatos

With a Halloween Theme, the Boo Hoos are playing in Rosatos.

It’s a hark back to the old days before Eddie and Margaret in Rosatos when Dermot owned the pub and the B0o Hoos used to play regularly.

The Boo Hoos were George and Cathal.

Cathal doesn’t live around here any more and has been replaced bu young James McDonald, ex of James and Naimh.

James is normally at university in Dublin but is back up for the Halloween weekend.

It should be an interesting night.

Sunday

Charlie O’Bollochain will be playing Annie’s Bar on Sunday night starting at 7:30pm.
