Cooley Pitch and Putt
As I look out the window, this Sunday, it is a beautiful day in Moville.
The water on the Lough is like glass.
It’s one of those days when it is so bright that you can hardly keep your eyes open.
It’s warm too with very little breeze.
In other words, it is just perfect.
This weather is forecast to stick around for a few days too.
Pitch and Putt
As a result, Colley Pitch and Putt, which would normally be closing round about now, is going to stay open – maybe even to the end of October or beyond – as long as the weather is OK.
Imagine having a game of pitch and putt in early November.
There can’t have been many years when that was a possibility.
So, take the opportunity, while the weather is good, to get yourself up there.
It’s got great views over the lough and is a great little course.
The course record for the 18 par-3 holes is 51 by the way.
