Saturday at the DylanFest
Saturday is THE big day at Stuck Inside of Moville, the DylanFest on the Lough.
It’s a fuller day too.
Kicking it off is Sean Hiboy playing at Annie’s Bar with an Open Mic to follow. That’s at 3pm on Mr Tambourine Man Afternoon.
Bobby Does Dylan
There’s been a bit of a coup for Bobby Does Dylan. He’s managed to get Al Diesan to support him instead of The Dylanites.
Al is going to play from 7:30pm for half an hour.
Then Bobby Does Dylan takes over with his spectacular sound and lights show at around 8pm and he will play to about 10:30pm.
He was on Highland Radio earlier today talking about it. It is not to be missed.
Open Mic
Next up is Moville’s Shaun Hiboy playing at the Redcastle Hotel. Residents there who are coming to Moville later on can catch some of Shaun’s act before they go.
There really are some great acts tonight and it will be hard to pick.
Saturday Night
If you like a full band then The Clock is for you.
Playing there is a an international 5-piece band, Blowins In The Wind, who base themselves in Sligo but who have members from Kaiserslautern in Germany, Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
They’re not to be missed either.
Then there is the fabulous act, The Dylanites from Derry, who will be playing in Annie’s. They play Dylan very upbeat and get people up dancing, to, of all things, Dylan songs.
They’re not to be missed either.
Last, but certainly not least is Al Diesan, whose Saturday gigs in Rosatos have become iconic. It’s like a stadium crowd in there on those nights with roars greeting every song and he crowd singing along with the classics.
He’s not to be missed.
