What a great day we have woken up to in Moville – and unexpected too, which makes it all the better.
There have been very few days like this, so far, this summer.
The BeatlesFest on the Lough and the Greencastle Regatta took place in overcast and damp conditions which was a shame.
However, we have a great day in front of us today – and a weekend day to boot.
Movillians at the Beach
It’s a day when Movillians can do something like go to the beach – and there have been few opportunities this year to do that – especially for those who work during the week.
Another opportunity today is to go and have a game of pitch and putt up at Cooley.
There are fantastic views there of the lough and it’s a great place to leave your worries behind and have a pleasant afternoon.
Course Record
Cooley have a board which shows the best scores of the day, week, year and all time course record.
With a new week it’s a chance top get your name up on the board.
Even if you are not bothered about things like that, it is great way to get away from it all for an hour or so – and get some fresh air in a picturesque environment.
