After their hugely successful gig on Saturday night the Cavanagh Brothers, who headlined that night, have thanked the organisers of the festival.
They posted the following message:-
“Regatta, done ‘n’ dusted for another year. Our thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday night, a fantastic gig that we will never forget. We will have some video up soon.
“We would also like to thank all the hard-working people behind the scenes who organise this great event, they deserve a medal for the work and hours they put into it.”
Greencastle Regatta
The Greencastle Regatta is a hugely successful festival. The organisers always put on a fantastic weekend.
It always looks as if runs like clockwork, although, I’m sure, behind the scenes there will be some glitches. If there are, they are not noticed by the large audience.
They didn’t get great weather for it this year but there was still a big crowd on all nights.
The coming weekend sees a break from festivals and then it is the new Moville Summer festival and then it is the DylanFest on the Lough at the end of the month.
