BeatlesFest Moville
Today is the final day in what has been a very good BeatlesFest with excellent acts.
The final day will see Annie’s Bar with two gigs and an Open Mic and Rosatos finishes off the festival.
The Plasticine Porters are now on at Annie’s Bar till around 7pm. They will be hosting an Open Mic.
They’re the guys from Belfast who came here with their guitars last year and just wanted to play.
They played so well they got themselves two gigs this year.
Luke McLaughlin
They will be followed by Luke McLaughlin at 7:30pm.
Luke is originally from Muff, but operates with his band out of West London now.
He’s played in Paris, Manchester, Leeds, London, Liverpool and many other venues.
Damien Sheridan
To finish off the festival will be Damien Sheridan at Rosatos starting sometime between 10pm and 10:30pm.
If they are still around, those young guys from Downpatrick, Dalhai, who appeared with their guitars this year and played short sets the last two nights in Rosatos will play again.
It depends on the weather. They are booked to appear outdoors at a festival in Northern Ireland but if it is rained off they will stay here and play.
That’s the first time this weekend that we have hoped for rain.
It would be just our luck if it didn’t rain when we wanted it to.
