For many years now, the opening night of the Muff Festival always kicks off with the ‘Festival Queen’ dance. This year the Festival Committee have decided to introduce something new….Mr and Mrs! A change is always good and this is sure to be a fun filled night!
The organising committee have said, “Don’t let the name fool you though, we run a very inclusive ship, so all couples are welcome! We would love to hear from you if you’re interested in entering.”
There’s an excellent prize involved for the winning couple which includes a hotel break! Who doesn’t need a hotel break? Surely a free escape to a nice hotel is reason enough to enter yourself and your other half, and it’ll definitely be a great nights craic.
AND you, yes you and him/herself could be the â™› King or Queen of Muff! â™› Now there’s a title you won’t hear everyday!

There are a few rules…but not too many:
You must be available to compete on Friday July 31st.
You don’t have to be married, you do have to be a couple and be eligible to be married in Ireland!
Not a rule, more a guideline – let your partner know if you’re entering!!
This amazing village of ours and surrounding area is full of gorgeous, lovely, funny and fabulous couples so go on, show the community what you’re made of and be King or Queen for a weekend!
