The rooms are almost taken for the BeatlesFest on the Lough in Moville at the end of July / early August.

However, there are still rooms available of all types for the DylanFest during the UK bank holiday at the end of August.

Stuck Inside of Moville, the DylanFest on the Lough, is on from August 27th to 30th this year.

By the time that it comes to the DylanFest in late August, all the rooms in the Caiseal Mara Hotel in Moville will be taken so this is a good opportunity to book early and ensure your room at the Caiseal Mara.

After we posted a previous ‘heads up’ for the rooms at the Caiseal Mara Hotel for the BeatlesFest, the hotel quickly filled up.

There’s some great value there too for such a busy weekend – and a bank holiday weekend too.

I was surprised at the prices.

€55 – Single Room (currently around £39 in sterling terms)

€110- Twin Room

€100 – Shared Room

€130  – Triple Room

€145 – Family Room (sleeps 4)

Great Value

That’s some great value there, considering it is for one of the best weekends of the summer.

That triple room is only £93 a night in sterling terms.

From what I can see that is with breakfast included too.

They have an excellent restaurant too.

Headline DylanFest Act

The headline act at this year’s DylanFest on the Lough, Bobby Does Dylan, who is coming over from Glasgow, will be playing the Caiseal Mara Hotel in the large function room on the Friday and Saturday evenings along with a great support act The Dylanites from Derry.

The family that run the hotel and restaurant, the McKenna’s, are very relaxed and friendly too.

If you want to make sure of your accommodation for the DylanFest, it might be an idea to book now as Moville was full for a 3-mile radius for the DylanFest last year.
