Muff – man attempts break-in this morning at 6am.

It’s just been brought to my attention that a man in his late 40’s made an attempt to enter a house in the Grove Cottages area of Muff this morning at around 6am. Fortunately there was a strong male present in the home and ensured the said prowler did not succeed. The prowler is said to be in his late forties and did have alcohol consumed.
Later today it also emerged that the same man attempted entry at a second house in the area.
Locals are asked to be wary and just check on elderly neighbours or anyone living alone, particularly in the Grove Cottages or Craig Park areas.
It’s at times like this when we really need to show our community spirit and help each other stay safe.
