Snowfalls
We woke up to snow lying in our gardens in Moville today.
You could see it lying on the hills across the water.
Certainly, in town, it’s not a thick coat of snow but it’s definitely lying.
This comes at a time when the daffodils are just coming out around the gardens in the town.
It looked like an early Spring until today.
The boxes of daffodils in the town look to be just about to spring forth.
Snow Day
The schoolchildren of the town will be hoping against hope that the schools are cancelled and that it is a snow day.
Older people will be hoping that they can get to work OK without any problems.
Today’s snow has shown us that, even though it is now March, winter can still bite back.
