Aoife McLaughlin

Aoife Mclaughlin is one of the best ever workers at Rosatos Bar, which Tony Bramwell described as ‘one of my favourite bars in the world’ (and I can assure you he’s been in a few, supping beer with the likes of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen and Jimi Hendrix.

It is a top, top bar and Aoife would stand among the best who have ever worked there. She is both hard working and friendly.

Canada

Now, she has decied to emigrate to Canada. She made one break for it before, going to live in Boston for 6 months till her visa ran out.

All her friends and family will be at the farewell party on Saturday night with music by the popular Damien Sheridan. There is a lot of music in her family (indeed Rosatos barman Danny sung at the last family reunion in Rosatos) and I’m sure there will be a few guest performers too.

Said Eddie Harkin “Everyone is welcome to Aoife McLaughlin’s going away party. She is emigrating to Canada on Tuesday and we are having a party on Saturday night. All her friends and family and customers of Rosato’s and anyone that knows her are invited to give her a good send off!”

Rosatos always do these parties well and there’s usually a few bits of pizza etc. going around.

But the star of the show is Aoife. If you know her, or got good service from her (and if she served you, you did get good service), come along and say goodbye.

We may not see her likes again in there. Ireland’s loss is Canada’s gain!

It should be a great party night!

And it’s the last big event before Paddy’s Day.
