Different Direction

Why Greencastle house prices should be going in such an opposite direction to Moville, I don’t know.

Perhaps locals will know better than I.

More houses were also sold in Greencastle in 2014.

15 were sold in 2013 and 19 in 2014.

Small Samples

One has to stay that the samples are quite small here. We’re only looking at 34 houses sold altogether.

However, the difference from one year to the other is significant.

So, why are house prices in Moville down 30% in a year at the same time as house prices in a village 3 miles away were soaring by 43%?

Is it just a statistical freak – or is there a good reason for it?
