Having arrived at his new grotto in Muff just 11 days ago, Santa took his leave earlier today from Muff Community Play Park.
Santa had been in residence at his grotto and met with many families over recent days. He was quite comfy in his nice chair by the fireside and I’m sure it was hard for him to say farewell today. However the elves and other staff await his arrival back at the North Pole for his impending departure around the world on Christmas Eve.
Today families from all over the local area came out to say their farewells to him and wished him well on his new journey.

The children from the Muff Girl Guides gave a great performance of their Christmas Rhymers activity and sang lots of Christmas songs and carols. Liam Atcheson entertained and Michelle McColgan helped with the fantastic ssinging.
Jim assisted Santa on his sleigh as he left and everyone waved their goodbyes.

The past 11 days have been hugely successful and Santa will no doubt return to his grotto in 2015.
So from all in Muff, here’s wishing Santa a safe trip on Christmas Eve and we all look forward to his visit to each and every house in the area on the night.

Happy Christmas one and all, and I’m sure Santa would like to extend his sincere thanks to all who visited and supported him over the past days. Ho Ho Ho 🙂
