Jack Murray’s proposals for Muff village!
How wonderful if these issues were taken care of in our village of Muff. The following is taken from Jack Murray’s statement following the community meeting in Muff last Wednesday:
Following on from last week’s residents meeting in Muff I met with council roads engineers today (11/11/14) to highlight road safety concerns in the village.
These issues included:
Update on pedestrian crossing – Despite some frustrations and delays, work is to begin on Monday with lights expected to be installed before Christmas. I have also requested that high visibility bollards are installed at the second crossing on the Derry side of the village.
Entrance to St Mary’s hall – engineers are to report back with proposals to improve vision lines for motorists exiting the carpark.
Lighting in the village – engineers to assess if street lighting can be brightened on the main street.
The Grove safety concerns – I have requested that more warning signs and safety measures are installed at the road passing the entrance to Craig Park and The Grove.
If you have any similar concerns in your area please contact me on Facebook or call me on 0873509670
That Liam man is in everything but the Christmas crib!
Maybe he should stand for councillor in the next election?
I loved the picture of Liam, saw it by chance, it made me smile
