Redcastle Hotel

The Redcastle Hotel has announced that it is going to take part this year in both the Moville DylanFest and the Moville BeatlesFest. It is the first year that they have taken part in the festivals.

They have booked 3 definite  acts for the BeatlesFest and 3 for the DylanFest with a possibility of more to come.

For the BeatlesFest, which takes place on the bank holiday weekend from August 1st to 3rd, they will have acts on all three nights of the festival.

Timings

The acts will take place from:-

10pm – midnight – Friday 1st

10pm – midnight – Saturday 2nd

7pm – 10pm – Sunday (3rd) evening (room between the bar and outside)

10pm – midnight – Sunday 3rd (bar)

The act has been booked for the first night and we are in negotiation with the hotel and the acts for the 2nd and 3rd nights and for the evening gig on the 3rd.

Said festival organiser, Gerry McLaughlin, “It’s fantastic news that the Redcastle Hotel is involved his year. It’s the heartbeat of the whole area. Moville and the rest of the area have had a bad time in the downturn but they would have been immeasurably worse off if it wasn’t for the number of people who come into town from the hotel”.

It seems that the Redcastle has a policy of taking part and partnering in the local community.

Recently the Redcastle Hotel flew Beatles Road Manager, tony Bramwell, to the launch of the BeatlesFest meeting, and dining in the restaurant with, a host of journalists to publicise the festival.

The DylanFest will take place from Aug 21st to 24th.
