Glorious

It is a glorious day today in Moville. It’s almost clear blue skies. The water in the lough looks very blue and you can see the sand under the water as you look down from the Putting Green Cafe area.

It’s  very different at Wimbledon. The only play is on the covered centre court where Rafa Nadal has just won. The big crowds have their umbrellas up and are hunched together on Henman Hill looking at the big screen watching the tennis there.

Lots of them must be in the bars, restaurants and cafes there which must be mobbed.

Moville

But it’s very different in Moville where people are in their T shorts and shorts enjoying the day.

The forecast is good for tomorrow as well when we should see the Clipper yachts coming up the lough from Derry towards their Greencastle start. The Red Arrows should have good weather for their show. A lot of people are looking forward to that.

The summer has started pretty well (with a little break earlier this week) so it could be a pretty enjoyable summer.

And the BeatlesFest is only 5 weeks away.
