2014 ‘John Lynch Perpetual Shield’ cycle!
It’s that time of year again. Time to dust down those bicycles and get the chains oiled. The ‘John Lynch Perpetual Shield’ cycle is about to kick start once more. The annual cycle is now in its 21st year and will take place on Friday 30th May 2014. Meeting time is at 7pm The Squealing Pig and Rawdons Bar. A team of cyclists will depart both venues at 7.15pm. They will meet en route and no doubt pass a friendly wave and hello!!
The cycle this year is again raising funds for both the Foyle and Donegal Hospices. Added to that this year is a contribution towards a young Muff lady Caraiose Grant, who is undergoing treatment for a serious illness. So all monies raised from the event will be divided among these three very worthy causes. Do give what you can.
In Muff there will of course be the usual fun and antics in The Squealing Pig, with a BBQ and music. A great nights craic will definitely be in store. There will also be a prize for the person who raises the most money. Get collecting NOW!
It’s paramount that helmets are worn throughout the cycle!
