One of our own local characters is celebrating a birthday today! I’ll be kind and not disclose his age but he’s approximately 50+ today!!!!
It just slipped out whilst chatting last Saturday night in the Pig, so I may not have the best memory in the world, but certain things, one just can’t forget! And Brian’s birthday is one to remember!
Having worked for many years as a ‘digger driver’ I’m reliably informed that he is indeed a ‘master of all trades’. If a job needs doing, be sure and call Brian.
I’ve even noted him working as a bouncer in recent months at McColgan’s Butchers in the village. He can be found out the back of the Pig on a Saturday night causing havoc with ourselves. And no one will get the last word with Mr B. He’ll be sure to always have that last one!!
So if you meet Brian along the way today or tonight, be sure to give him a pat on the back and a nice big ‘Happy Birthday’! Mr Barron have a good ‘un!
