‘Commitments’ star Bronagh Gallagher pops into the Pig!
The Commitments star, Bronagh Gallagher popped into the Squealing Pig last night and enjoyed a good pint of guinness. Based in Dublin, Gallagher travels to Derry as often as time allows her. She may be a movie star and singer, but her homeland is never far from her daily life. And at every opportunity this down to earth lady makes her way home! This past weekend was no exception.
Bronagh was visiting with friends and decided to try Muff’s local, the Pig, and she was clearly impressed. The staff and locals welcomed her and she felt right at home. She even tried her hand at pulling a pint of guinness.
Gallagher chatted with all and even sang a song….one which has not been heard publicly and will be released at a later date. So the clientele of the Pig were privy to something quite special.
Bronagh assured staff and locals that she would definitely be returning to the Pig again soon, and looked forward to seeing everyone again.
