It’s not so long ago that they were young hopefuls in the Moville & Greencastle Music Academy Songwriters Competition having never played a gig but now Debbie & Geraldine are amongst the most polished performers in the area.

Watch out Yetis. These girls are after you.

The Yetis are the Kings of the area, packing out every gig they play. It’s a rollercoaster ride for them.

They will be headlining the Inishowen Vintage Show in June. Nathan Carter was the headline act last year.

However, if the Yetis are the Kings then these girls are Princesses, destined to become the Queens.

It’s always a problem for performers, no matter how good, to make it to the next level.

To get there, you have to be able to write your own songs.

These girls already write their own songs and one of their songs finished runner-up to a high-class Laurence Hackett song and another song they had in the final placed highly too.

They play every four weeks at Rosatos.

They really got the crowd going on Saturday night and encores were demanded.

Make sure you get to see them as often as possible.

The Plea used to play Rosatos and now look at them – national stars in their own right.

These girls have a chance of going far too.
