Warrenview Manor ‘Dinsmore Kitchen’ in Muff are considering opening a Day Centre on the premises for our elderly folk. The Manor has published the following statement:
‘We are considering starting a day centre for the elderly here in Warrenview Manor ‘Dinsmore Kitchen’. Along with our usual services we would like to be able to offer a host of activities. Do you or anyone you know have a skill or talent you would like to share with others? Could you instruct in arts & crafts such as painting, knitting, crocheting, quilting or other crafts. We would also be interested in hearing from those who might like to entertain with music, host a bingo session or a quiz, offer beautician or hairdressing services, reflexology, healing treatments, offer instruction in or host bridge or other card games, host an exercise or light yoga class, a dance or drama class. We are open to all suggestions!
We would like to give clients the opportunity to engage in peer socialisation while enjoying delicious meals and participating in a variety of stimulating activities. You can contact us on ph: 9384001 or call in to Warrenview for a chat’.
Most towns in the area host such a centre so surely it’s time that our own wee village does the same. This would be an invaluable service for many people. It is very worthy of the support from the entire community! Do get in touch if you are willing to help or if you have any further suggestions.
