The pubs look forward to it every year. It gives them a major boost after the long hard winter. It tides them over till the summer season.

The reports are of a bumper St. Patrick’s Weekend.

It was really good for them that St. Patrick’s Day fell on  Monday so that they had a real holiday style weekend even before the big day on Monday.

I heard reports of big crowds in all the pubs on Paddy’s Day and before.

That will be like manna from the heavens for hard hit pubs.

People are saying that there will be a reaction this weekend with people having spent their money last weekend.
