Spring is coming
The official start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere is March 21st. However, it is generally accepted that March, April and May are spring, June, July and August are summer, September, October and November are autumn and December, January and February are winter.
So, we are on the cusp of spring.
It’s been a long winter. It seems a long time since hot, sunny days were here.
Daffodils and Crocuses
The buds are already out on some bushes and trees and the daffodils are just starting to poke through.
In two or three weeks time it is going to look very different as the area becomes greener and greener.
St. Patrick’s Day is less than two weeks away.
Looking Forward
At the end of this month the clocks will go forward too – and then we can start looking forward and not back.
There may still be some bad weather to come – but the worst is behind us and the best still to come.
Happy Spring!
