Indications of Bumper DylanFest this year
DylanFest
Stuck Inside of Moville, the DylanFest on the Lough, which has been going since 2007, takes place in Moville. County Donegal at the very top of Ireland.
It takes place from Aug 21st to 24th.
You always get a feel about how the various festivals are going to go and the indications so far are that this could be a bumper DylanFest this year.
The number of people getting in touch has been more than usual.
I also think that the success of last year’s festival has contributed to this as people who enjoyed it have told other people about it.
Bookings
Local B&Bs and self catering establishments are also starting to take bookings for it.
Of course, it will be a big bonus having the Caiseal Mara open again with its 48 bedrooms.
Al Diesan, who was such a success in Rosatos last year, is delighted as he always stayed there till last year.
Great Acts
There’s also a lot of great acts, more so than last year.
Indeed, the main problem may be pubs to put the acts on in rather than acts.
We have at least three great new acts and we hope to have Jacques Mees over again this year.
We also hope to have Bulrush from Derry in again who played the Sunday night in Rosatos as well as Michael Moravek from Germany and Al Diesan himself.
Provided that we have the venues for it, it should be a bumper DylanFest this year.
Rosatos have already made their bookings.
