Moville Rowing Club are going to be busy this year.

The club has entered a mixed team for the Celtic Challenge (http://www.celtic-challenge.org.uk/) the worlds longest rowing race.

This takes place on weekend of 3rd May, with teams rowing from Arklow to Aberystwyth.

Moville Rowing club won the mixed event when it was last run two years ago and they were third overall behind two all-male crews.

They were also the best placed Irish crew.

Regattas

Over the summer the club will enter a number of local and not-so-local regattas, as well as taking part in longer rowing events.

There will also be a number of social outings, such as the annual Open Day, and regular trips to Greencastle and occasionally to Magilligan.

Last year there was a very successful day trip to Portrush, with two boats rowing there and a further five in attendance.
