Orange Snow alert for Donegal
Orange Alert
The Met issued an Orange snow alert for Donegal today which is their highest alert level after yellow.
They reckoned that there would be 3 to 6 centimetres of snow last night and today. There didn’t seem to be any last night, not even on the hills across the Lough.
However, there have been a couple of snow flurries this morning without lying.
Forecast
 The Met said that there will be wintry showers of sleet and snow and said that the weather today would be cold and raw. There would be some heavy showers of hail, sleet and snow.
At the moment there are clear blue skies which has the sunlight coming through the windows but it is a little cold outside.
