Yetis and Spring Tides Superjam on Friday night
Yetis & Spring Tides
There’s going to be an amalgam of Moville’s best bands in recent years on Friday night. James McIvor and Paul Bredin of The Yetis and Gerard McMonagle from Spring Tides will get together.
Not only that, James McDonald, of James & Niamh, who also places with The Decibellas (Debbie & Geraldine) will be playing with them too.
And there’s more – Shaun McGonigle will be playing with them too.
It’s a real Moville and Greencastle supergroup
They are going to play at the Sean Ti this Friday night starting after 10pm.
There may be others joining them too.
Top Bands
That sounds like a lot of talent in one band at one time.
Spring Tides burst on the scene like a breath of fresh entertaining the audience as well as playing popular music.
Their unique style saw them standing on the chairs for some of the songs and going through the audience playing acoustically after they had finished on stage.
Yetis
The Yetis are now the top band in the area with James McIvor, Paul Bredin and drummer Steven McDaid.
They always say that if you want to get a crowd then book The Yetis and that’s inevitably the case.
James & Niamh burst on the scene when they were only 14 years of age and played the main stage of the Lighthouse Festival the following year.
Now the bands are getting together in one supergroup to play at the Sean Ti on Friday night.
That’s a good place to be then.
