Line-up Complete for RTE’s Other Voices weekend in Derry
Other Voices
Now that the week is upon us, Derry City gears up for the return of Other Voices, for an even bigger and better weekend than last year, with the support of DCAL and Derry City Council.
The Bohicas have been announced as the twelfth and final act for The Glassworks gig on Saturday 8th February, joining Public Service Broadcasting, Foy Vance, Bell X1 Colm Mac Con Iomaire. Little Matador, The Amazing Snakeheads, Walking on Cars, The Gloaming, Poliça, George Ezra and East India Youth.
Â
The Bohicas are Domino’s latest signing, but more accurately they’re four young men from Essex and the east London borderlands, making ambitious and arresting rock ‘n’ roll. They also have a serious stage presence and are destined to be heralded as a great live act.
Local Voices
Â
One of the major elements of this year’s Other Voices, is the story of ‘Local Voices’ a new addition to the Other Voices Music Trail. People can head to their local cafe, shop, community centre, youth centre or shopping centre and find a range of local talent providing great performances.
