Bay Field

The tide appears to have entered the Bay Field and taken a chunk of it.

In thee corner near the Bredagh River, the waves were roaring from the lough up the Bredagh River this morning and there is a line of seaweed right into the field, maybe about half way from the edge of the Bay Field to the goal.

It is on the pitch.

However, just where you go from the shore to the Bay Field and inside the wall of the Bay Field the sea seems to have disappeared with part of it with a couple of big waterlogged ditches where a part of the Bay Field used to do.

It’s not on the pitch or anything like that but it looks like the lough is laying claim to at least part of the Bay Field.

The next high tide is soon after 9 o’clock tonight.
