Dognapping
It seems that there has been a huge increase in dognapping in Donegal since last November. There is a dognapper in the area.
He stole a dog in Burt but returned it as it was owned by a kick boxing champion.
However, he stole another dog on Monday, a German Shepherd this time.
He sold the dog for €150 in Carrigans but the new owner was suspicious and contacted the Pet Rescue Centre who told him it was stolen.
It seems that the dognapper drives a blue van. If you see a blue van nearby keep a good eye on your dog.
