Moville's Shore Walk destroyed by storms
After seeing the strength of the sea at the River Row with huge rocks in our garden and Harold and Elsie’s garden flooded from the lough I suspected that the shore walk might have had problems.
Now I see a picture on Rosato’s Bar Facebook Page which shows the devastation. The shore walk path has completely collapsed at one point not too far along and is now not passable.
That will come as a mighty blow for the town and for the shore walkers (who will now have to literally walk on the shore). I wonder how long it will be before it is fixed.
It comes at a time when the Council don’t have much money. Maybe the FAS guys will come to the rescue. Maybe it will just remain broken like the White Wall did for ages.
I hope not!
