The weather is fooling local plants and insects
There is a rose in full bloom in our garden and several other buds about to come out. Although we have had a lot of stormy weather recently, most of the time it has been relatively mild for this time of the year.
My son saw a couple ladybirds as well which seemed to have been fooled by the weather.
A local man told me that the tulips are starting to come up in his garden. Perhaps with the change in global weather the plants and insects don’t know what to make of it.
It was only a few weeks ago that I saw a butterfly.
I wonder if they will be able to manipulate the weather in the future, e.g. by having all the rain fall at night when it is more effective, anyway, in terms of filling up the rivers and reservoirs.
I expect that they will be able to do so – but not soon enough.
