Reversing the Ageing Process

US Scientists have found a way of reversing the ageing process in the muscles of mice. It reverses the age of the muscles of a two year old mouse to that of a 6 months old mouse.

That is the equivalent of reversing the age of a 60-year-old person’s muscles to that of a 20-year-old.

It seems that the levels of a chemical called NAD drops as people get older. However, if the levels are increased again the muscles go back to the way they were before.

Other Factors

Before you get over excited, though, it seems that there is more than one factor in the ageing process.

Other factors such as the shortening of the telomeres and the damage to DNA cannot currently be resolved.

However, this is seen as an exciting development and the first step towards people living eternally.

One hopes they are already working on the other factors after doing my Life Expectancy Test.
