Moville Ladies heartbreak in GAA Ulster Final
Moville Minor Ladies
With 5 minutes to go in the GAA Ulster final, Moville’s Minor Ladies were up by 5-13 to 5-9 against St. Paul’s in Belfast.
However, they couldn’t hold on and lost 6-13 to 5-13 in a pulsating finale. It was a heartbreaking way for it to finish as they led all the way until almost the death.
It was a tremendous performance by them which almost led to victory and the trophy. They’ll be upset but their heads should be held high.
Successful
Moville’s Girls and Women are very successful at both GAA and soccer. Their successes are both a credit to their ability and also their hard work as well as to their coaches and schools etc.
There’s doesn’t seem to be many months when they don’t win something or come close. Indeed the sound of car horns tooting is quite a regular occurrence in Moville as Moville girls come home with yet another trophy.
When I hear them the first thought is “that must be Moville gilsl winning something again”.
They just missed out this time when in pursuit of victory but I doubt if it will be too long before we hear the sound of the car horns again.
