It’s crazy isn’t it. These holiday cottages are close to Lough Derg in Tipperary which is popular for water sports and fishing.
Nearby you can join the Lough Derg Yacht Club and Shannon Sailing Club. It’s popular for visitors. the holiday cottages are picturesque and have three bedrooms.
And you can get a dozen of them for €250,000. That’s less than €21,000 a cottage. There would be loads of houses in Moville which would have cost that much in the boom.
The bank obviously just want rid of them at any price. You could probably buy them in a job lot and sell them off individually. You must be able to get more than €21,000 each for them.
