Thursday 12th December is the date and 7pm the time! Yes folks, it’s that time of year again and the big ‘switch on’ is happening once more.
Carols around the Christmas tree, Santa Claus arriving, mulled wine and mince pies and Christmas cheer in general. The ‘switch on’ is always an entertaining and fun get together for the local community.
Rumor has it also that the Muff Band from 30 years ago are reuniting once more for the occasion! Having played and marched at the opening of the Muff Festival 2013 this group of youngsters (!!) really impressed one and all. And they managed to do so into the wee hours on that night! So perhaps on this festive season a curfew might just be needed for a select few members!
Get the warm coats, hats, gloves and thermal attire at the ready. Thursday night 12th December is a night not to be missed in the village. Christmas really is coming. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way……….
