Just two or three weeks ago I was still in my shorts. Indeed at the start of the week I was sunbathing out the back of the River Row. It’s all change now, though.
It’s colder during the day and frostier at nights. There were predictions of snow in Scotland and so they were taking no chances last night. The Gritters were seen out in the Malin Road last night as well as in other areas of Inishowen. Indeed they were spotted in Quigley’s Point too.
It looks as if Monday’s sunbathing on the River Row will be the last for a good few months now. Someone said that when the tide changed the weather changed too.
I don’t know if that is the cause of it but it has certainly changed. It’s seven weeks to Christmas today. I would be surprised if we got any more unseasonable weather before then or beyond.
