The Caiseal Mara comes up for auction in Dublin tomorrow. It will be one of more than 100 lots up for auction.

So, will it sell? Will it reach its reserve price of €175,000?

Well, the previous auction done by Allsop in Dublin was on July 4th. I checked on the website for the Unsold Lots from the last auction on July 4th. It stated that there were no Unsold Lots.

I don’t know if they all sold on the day. However, by the time of the date of the next auction they were all gone.

That strongly suggests that almost all, or all, of the lots tomorrow will be sold – including the Caiseal Mara.

With the right buyer that could be good news for the town.

According to the Auctioneers “The auction starts at 11am, and doors open at 9am. This lot I imagine should be offered shortly after 12noon, but please be there before as the auction may go quicker than anticipated. The auction will be held in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4”.

So, there you have it!
