Yoga
A yoga class takes place every Wednesday from 11am to 12pm in Quigleys Point Community Centre. Also, a Mens Yoga class continues from 7pm-8pm on Wednesday evenings. For further information and/or to book a place please contact Mary McElhinney on (0044) 7851036144, or email [email protected]
Baby & Toddler Group
A Baby and Toddler Group takes place every Thursday from 10am to 12pm at Quigleys Point Community Centre for babies and toddlers up to 4 years of age. Come along for dress up, story books, role play, music & movement, and socialising! Refreshments provided. A great way for children and adults to meet and make new friends!
New courses/classes at QPCC
If theres a course or class you or any of your family members would like to see run at Quigleys Point Community Centre, please contact the centre, and we will run it subject to demand. Courses and classes suggested to date have been cookery, cake decorating, and digital photography. If you are interested in these, or have any new suggestions, please share with us via email [email protected], facebook or phone 0749383653. Zumba, Ballet, patchwork and first aid are all taking place at the centre at present, which is in reponse to individual requests…..so we do listen to you!
Drama Classes starting at QPCC
Masquerade Stage School is starting drama classes for primary school children from 5:45pm to 6:45pm on Thursday evenings at Quigleys Point Community Centre, starting from the 17th of October. For information, and/or to book a place, please contact Nicola on 086 3506777.
Kids Club Rota
Kids Club parental supervisors for Monday 14th October: Claire Doherty, Grainne Kelly, and Jackie Doherty. Monday 21st of October: Tina Ruddy, Gail Sweeney, and Caroline Curran. Monday 28th October is a bank holiday so there will be no kids club.
Hip Hop Classes
Zona Dance are currently trying to gauge demand for starting Hip Hop classes at Quigleys Point Community Centre. If interested in this, please contact Jessica Peoples on 086 8222189.
Free Internet Training
Are you aged 65 or over? Then why not avail of our Free Internet Training which can be provided in a variety of settings such as your own home, libraries, day centres or community facilities. You will be taught how to make use of the web, send email, Skype, banking online, etc. For more information or to book a place contact Sinead at IDP on 074 9362218.
Project X
Calling all budding musicians 14 – 18 yrs. Project X needs YOU! This project consists of a series of band building workshops in various instruments to encourage you to form your own bands and write your own songs. Project X will last for 10 weeks, and is FREE. Sessions will be on Saturday mornings starting on Sat 12th in Spraoi agus Spórt, Carndonagh. Email [email protected] to register your interest. Places are limited.
QPCC/RCD Lotto Results
There was no jackpot winner in the QPCC/RCD Lotto on Friday 4th October. Winning numbers were 3, 13, 15, and 21. The four €15 winners were Deirdre McDaid, Mindoran; John Henry, 134 Redcastle Cottages; Sadie Doherty, Redcastle; Eileen McGowan, Redcastle. Next weeks jackpot will be €4,100.
Sean Davis Soccer Academy
