That's Moville's summer season over
Sep02
Last night was the last night of the 7th BeatlesFest on the Lough and the end of Moville’s summer season. With the schools now back we have got our perennial burst of sunnier weather. However, between now and Christmas there’s only Halloween. Perhaps we’ll put something on around October time. It seems too long a stretch without much fun.
According to local businesses Moville’s holiday season, which used to stretch from May to September’s Oyster Festival, now lasts from July 12th to the end of August – precisely 51 days. That’s not a lot of time for local businesses to make their money to tide them over the winter months when there’s few about.
